What is concealer, exactly? And what is the best way to apply foundation?

Also, why the hell do people feel the need to go to the makeup questions and say stuff like, ';You don't need makeup'; ';Use your natural beauty'; ';You're too young for makeup';?


If someone asks what kind of makeup they should wear then they want to know what kind of makeup they should wear.


Because they want to wear makeup...What is concealer, exactly? And what is the best way to apply foundation?
Hmm i see your point about peoples comments im 14 and i started wearing proper makeup about 2 years ago now! im not over the top about it but yes i do wear it!





Anyway concealer is like a foundation but say in a lipstick ect .. it covers blemishes and red patches scars bruises on your face maybe also heard as a cover up stick! it is actually really handy if you do not wish to cover up with say foundation!





Foundation applying depending what sort you have! if you have a matte it is pretty easy to just put on your face and rub it a little ! other more liquidy foundations i would say put a light moisturiser on 2mins before hand let it settle so its not wattery and apply foundation rubing all over face in well! The moisturiser will nutralise it down giving you a lighter and less thick cakey look !

well babes i need makeup haha i never leave the house without so i dont think its right for people to say dont use it .. everyones entitled to their opnion but you want advice not a lecture





anyways .. concealer is a light foundation that conceals spots and bumps on your face .. its really useful as some spots take a few days or weeks to get rid off.Most concealers are best bein used under foundation as this covers more.





Best way to apply foundation for me is to get a makeup sponge .. put it on and massage into the face .. if its a powder same as .. then use your fingers or a smaller sponge to rub in the lines around your eyes nose and jaw bone

i put concealer on any spots or blemishes %26amp; smudge he edges in - then I use maxfactor colour adapt all over, any spots that have reappered get a bit mroe concealer add to them %26amp; smudged in by finger, then use a brush to apply a powder for a smooth matte finish.
I can see your point but other people are entitled to express their views on this site. I am not a fan of make-up and encourge people not to use it - it is a marketing man dream. Why buy into this 'rubbish'
