How to use concealer properly to cover up widespread acne and red marks?

How can I cover up acne and red marks that plague my cheeks and forehead without looking totally fake and caked on?How to use concealer properly to cover up widespread acne and red marks?
Use Neutrogena cover up - it is light but really stays on. If you have acne all over then use a foundation that matches the skin on your neck first. A whiter based foundation helps cover up redness (as opposed to yellowish tints). Use the cover up over that for tough spots and then finish with powder. I would use all Neutrogena as it is light, doesn't clog pores, and the lighter shades aren't all yellow like some makeup.
