What are the differences between foundation and concealer?

And how should I apply them? What are the differences between foundation and concealer?
concealer is used for covering blemishes like spots or red patches


foundation is more of a make up base - dont use it to cover spots as it wont do much





depending on the type of foundation u get depends how u apply it - powder %26amp; compact u tend to use a sponge, whereas liquid u can use a brush, sponge or ur fingers - just do it in a good light

and my foundation is powder its cover girl and i have mineral powder one and my concealer is mineral also but its in a tube

I found that liquid concealer and foundation work the best.
